  • Is a trial recommended for the Bride?
    A trial is recommended as it is a good opportunity for us to meet and will ensure a seamless service on the day. You are encouraged to come with some ideas of what you like (I usually ask for an indication of what you would like prior to the trial). Photographs will be taken and makeup noted. The trial will either take place at my studio in Titirangi, Auckland or at a location of your choice with a travel cost of $1 per km from Titirangi (return). Generally the trial will take up to 2 to 21/2 hours.
  • Are false eye lashes, lipstick touchup kit included in the price?
    False eye lashes are included in the price - either full length, half strip or individuals - whatever your choice is - these are sure to make your eyes ‘pop’ . A lipstick / gloss touchup kit is also provided to apply throughout the day as needed.
  • What makeup is in my kit and which hair products/brands do I use?
    - MAKEUP: The brands in my kit include Bobbi brown; Charlotte Tilbury; Refy; Aleph; Glossier; Chanel;MAC; Nars; Makeup by Mario; RNS. - HAIR STYLING: Kevin Murphy; WOW; Joico; L’oreal; Mason & Pearson; Dyson Hair dryer & Airwrap.
  • Is there a minimum booking cost / number of services?
    Yes depending on if it is peak season or out of peak season. - In peak season (November-March Friday to Sunday) a minimum of either 2 full hair and makeups; or 4 individual services I.e. 2 x makeups only and 2 hairstyles (men’s grooming not included as a servicein this case). - Out of peak season (April - October) at least 2 x services are required.
  • How long does a Hair and Makeup take for a wedding?
    Generally speaking 11/2 hours to 2 hours (depending on the hair). Once numbers are specified regarding services I will have a schedule/run sheet for the wedding day.
  • Do I have to pay a deposit to secure the service on my wedding day?
    Once the trial has been completed and you would like to go ahead with the booking, a quote will be provided. Once the quote has been accepted a deposit will be required to be deposited into my bank account.
  • Is travel within Auckland an added cost to the bridal party?
    Within a 20km radius of Auckland City there is no additional cost. Outside of the 20km radius there will be a $1 per km (return) calculated from Central Auckland.
  • Do I travel throughout New Zealand and overseas?
    Yes I do and have done a lot of work outside of Auckland including Rarotonga; Samoa; Queenstown; Napier; Taupo; Kerikeri; Waiheke; Coromandel. Travel time will be quoted depending on location.
