MINIMUM BOOKING REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of six (6) services applies for weekend bookings during peak wedding season.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS

A 50% non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your booking date and time. An invoice will be issued upon confirmation of your booking.

Flexible payment options, including deposit lay-by arrangements, may be available upon request.

The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your booking date.

Deposits must be paid within 48 hours of the quotation/invoice being issued. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold dates based on verbal, text, email enquiries or tentative ("pencilled in") bookings.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Pure Makeup Artistry reserves the right to withhold services if full payment has not been received before the scheduled booking.

BOOKING & CANCELLATIONS

Once your booking has been confirmed and the booking deposit has been paid, the number of booked services cannot be reduced. Full payment for the original confirmed booking is required. You are welcome to substitute another person to use any unused service.

Minimum booking requirements remain applicable even if booking numbers are reduced.

Additional hair or makeup services requested on the day are subject to artist availability and scheduling. Any approved additional services must be paid in full on the day unless otherwise agreed.

Unless alternative arrangements have been made in writing, the contracted client accepts responsibility for payment of all additional services requested on the day.

TIMELINESS / SCHEDULING

Your artist will make every effort to ensure your booking is completed within the agreed schedule.

If delays occur due to the client, members of the booking party, photographers, other suppliers, or any third party, the agreed completion time may be affected. Pure Makeup Artistry cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control.

If the client or booking party is not ready at the agreed start time, late fees may apply. Where significant delays occur, your artist may need to leave before all services have been completed in order to honour other bookings.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Should you cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges apply:

• More than 6 months before the booking date: Refund less 50% of the total booking value.

• Between 1 and 6 months before the booking date: Refund less 60% of the total booking value.

• Less than 1 month before the booking date: Refund less 70% of the total booking value.

Travel fees, trial appointments, and any completed services are non-refundable and cannot be credited or applied pro-rata against your final invoice.

If your event is postponed rather than cancelled, we will make every effort to transfer your booking to the new date, subject to artist availability.

ARTIST AVAILABILITY

If your allocated artist becomes unable to attend due to illness, injury, emergency or unforeseen circumstances, Pure Makeup Artistry will make every reasonable effort to secure a replacement artist of comparable skill and pricing.

If a suitable replacement cannot be arranged, all monies paid for the unavailable services will be refunded in full.

PREVIEW DISCLAIMER

Clients who choose not to have a trial acknowledge that the final result on the event day cannot be guaranteed. Pure Makeup Artistry cannot accept responsibility for dissatisfaction where no trial has been undertaken.

LOCATION & SETUP REQUIREMENTS

To ensure the highest quality service, clients are asked to provide:

• A clean, well-lit area with natural light where possible.

• A large table or workspace.

• Access to nearby power outlets.

If these requirements cannot be met, please advise us before your booking.

For hotel bookings, clients must provide the hotel name, room number, and any access instructions via email or text before the day of the appointment.

CLIENT CONDUCT

Pure Makeup Artistry and all contracted artists are committed to providing a safe and respectful working environment.

Aggressive, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, intoxicated, or otherwise inappropriate behaviour towards our artists or contractors will not be tolerated.

Pure Makeup Artistry reserves the right to immediately terminate services if such behaviour occurs. In these circumstances, all monies paid will be retained to cover reserved time, travel and associated costs.

LIABILITY & INDEMNITY

By confirming your booking and paying the required deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pure Makeup Artistry and its employees, contractors and affiliated artists against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs or expenses arising from the provision of services, except where caused by negligence or breach of statutory obligations.

FORCE MARJEUR

Neither party shall be liable for any delay or failure to perform their obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, pandemic, war, terrorism, industrial action, government restrictions or any other force majeure event.

Payment of your booking deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
